Commissions

Sculptural, design-led furniture developed for private and interior-led projects.

A limited number of commissions are undertaken each year, working with private clients and interior designers to develop sculptural furniture for specific interiors.

Each piece is considered in relation to scale, proportion, material, and use, allowing it to sit naturally within a wider interior or architectural setting.

Typical Applications:

Commissions typically include dining tables, console tables, occasional pieces, and selected interior elements developed in response to residential interiors and architectural spaces.

Delivery

An initial discussion to understand the project, setting, requirements, and scope of the commission.

Proportions, material, and form are resolved through drawing and discussion in response to the space, intended use, and wider architectural setting of the commission.

Each piece is forged and finished in the studio, with a focus on consistency, finish, and structural clarity.

Delivery or installation is coordinated as appropriate, with consideration given to the setting, access, and final placement of the piece.

Timelines

Smaller commissioned pieces are typically completed within 3-6 weeks, while larger or more complex projects may require longer depending on scope and studio availability.

Timelines are discussed individually during the enquiry and design process.

Materials & Approach

Work is primarily forged in steel, often combined with glass, timber, or stone where appropriate.

The focus is on proportion, balance, and longevity, with each piece designed to sit naturally within its setting and retain its presence over time.

Each commission is approached within a defined design language, ensuring the work remains consistent, considered, and repeatable.
