A forged steel curtain pole with a subtle upset end

Upset

A restrained design, finished with a softened, clover-shaped terminal.

Structure

Description

Hand-forged in solid steel, this curtain pole is defined by its restraint. The upset finial is formed by compressing the metal at the end of the bar, creating a subtle, weighty termination without adding ornament.

There is a quiet confidence to this piece. The form is simple, but the process remains visible. The slight swelling at each end a direct result of force and heat rather than decoration. It allows the material and finish to take precedence, sitting comfortably within both traditional and contemporary interiors.

A considered, architectural piece where nothing is added unnecessarily, and nothing feels missing.

Sizing & Installation

Curtain poles over 2 metres are supplied with an additional central support bracket to provide extra strength and prevent deflection over time. This ensures the pole maintains a clean, straight line once installed.
